At the end of the day, we have to manage our social media initiatives and ROI for ourselves–because we are learning by being there, because we are absorbing the nature of online services and connections, and because when we call on the grid (in appropriate measures) to help us broadcast, ask, converse, it will do that for us. But like anything else in life, it’s a slow build of trust, credibility, finding the right alliances and developing relationships. The tools are tools.
