I did a similar article recently for our company website. Simple Lifeforms (that's us) is a new social games startup based in the UK and we're very happy to be exploring this exciting space.
I just noticed that the games on facebook have almost the same concepts, but still they are addictive and fun.

Awareness of others’ actions in games – I honestly believe this was the catalyst for “social gaming.” When you could see in your news feed that your friend just bit another one of your friends to turn them into a vampire, suddenly there was social context, making you more likely to interact with the game.

Really interesting and amazing article. You written it very perfectly. i like your way of thinking It is really great. I love to play games and i think social games are very great part of our life.
This is really a nice idea. Social games will help the peoples to come closer and solve many of there problems which they can't face alone. it is really a beneficial thing.
