I love it when social media becomes the tool for a social cause. I think the Twestival shows the real power of virtual networks like Tweeter. The Twestival is much more than a Tweetup on steroids, and this year came to prove the huge power it has to influence people's lives in a positive way.

I guess it's o.k. to tweetup on legal steroids as long as it's for a noble cause. And the days where a banner placed in the center of the city to raise awareness are gone. Now every body is going virtual and twitter is a great place to make yourself heard.
