I always use MSN or Yahoo, but it gets annoying when someone doesn't have one or the other. Meebo looks like it could be something very useful if it combines these IM services.

It's definitely one of the better ones that I've ever used. And you're right, it makes it easier than ever to communicate between a group of people. This merger should be interesting to watch unfold.

Meebo has always been great and this will only make it better. The centralized platform is especially nice and I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to their new ventures. free money for bills?

I think it is very good to have instant messaging that way you can talk to your friends, family and co-workers. Meebo sounds awesome.

This sounds like a good idea, but I am new to this whole social network thing. I guess I should read up on it before I decide to criticize this new addition. I will start with Meebo, and see how it goes. Does any body have a better suggestion?

There are so many IM's to choose from these days, that having a central one that you can chat with people on all different platforms is a great idea. What makes that even better? Being able to share music with all of these people, and chat with fans of the same artists. I think it is a great partnership, and I am sure it will take right off.

Chat can be a powerful and effective form of direct communication. However, can music album really spread through chat platforms? Integrate a system for members of meebo to listen to music in the meantime might be good.
