    that is a great analogy! id love to hear more about how those party lines used to work... I am sure in those memories is insight into where the future of digital communications is going. My parents first job in New Zealand was being a operator manually switching the wires to connect peoples calls. They said that everyone used to listen on the calls and it was a great source of entertainment.
