This is just one aspect of the future of social media.

Re: LinkedIn Has a Busy Week

While I can understand the appeal of partnering with a prestigious publication like the NY Times I would like to see more choice as to the source of the news that I read - and I think that is coming.

Re: LinkedIn Has a Busy Week

LinkedIn a good network where it is possible to find a lot of good stuff, I was pleased with news about that that now I can read them in the Spanish language.

Re: LinkedIn Has a Busy Week

The announcement of integrating with Xobni, will definitely attract users that needs their contact to be spread desperately especially for those in the marketing or production line. The paper is in decline (as almost all newspapers are) and is considered a highly biased source, lacking credibility, by a majority of those who lean Republican or Conservative. Whether you agree or disagree, that's a large segment of the population.

Considering the focus on industries, Linkedin would have been better off partnering with The Wall Street Journal or Investors Business Daily.
