It is so funny that I found this, I would love to say a few things. Brette's parents Wendy Meri and Ken the people paying for all of Brette's new play things. I think the reason number one most people are addicted to facebook is the opportunity to meet up with locals and make new friends. I don't see any potential of using this social media to replace search engine like Google or Bing - they are far superior.

I don’t think Facebook is as search engine friendly in the google searches. Or at least I’ve not seen it show up on topics that I search for. We will see what the future ranks hold.

Finally a safe place where I can say how I feel, get feedback from my peers, without worrying that this is going to embarrass me. We women need to support each other. At work, sometimes I feel that other women are not looking out for me. HHS gives me a site to get honest advice. Thanks Brette, for understanding what we need and providing this great resource for me..

I have been an herhotspot.com member for about 2 weeks and impressed so far. The women are forthright and honest and posting anonymously really separates herhotspot.com from other sites in my humble opinion :)

I agree Facebook has become so generic...something for everything being able to integrate Facebook Connect definitely offers expansion and still maintains the integrity and purpose of HHS....I also agree that Her Hot Spot needs to be ubiquitus in terms of platforms---from the web to mobile and off line with print, broadcast and the increasingly dominant place based media outlets...keep it growing!

I think that they are on to something here. This whole concept of building stand alone communities on Facebook's social graph makes a lot of sense to me. Keep up the great work.
