Twiter do not know if what you're looking. I do not think is necessary discretion. I for one have started to successfully use Facebook. That brings me some advantages.

I have an account that I use quite often. But, I wouldn't if I didn't constantly get emails about new people following me. That's about the only thing that reminds me to go check and see if anything good has been posted that day.

I hear you! I didn't start really getting into Twitter until a couple of months ago, but since then I've been on there probably three hours every day! I don't know what it is about it, but once you get bit, you're bit good.

I think there are a lot of people who just say "I don't get it...." but they haven't 'tried it. Most of my family has created an account but have never touched it since. They would all "get it" too if they would, at least I think. Welcome to the world of tweeting!

I'm 25 and agree with you on twitter. I have an account but I've never really used it, I just can't get interested and usually forget that I have it. As for the politicans, I, too, write the emails and/or make the phone calls...usually if I have something to say to them it won't fit in the 140 or so characters on twitter anyway.
