  • Thanks for the mention Nick. I've been very clear about my vision for more than a year now. The opening of the social nets provides unprecedented access to consumers for brands. The single best way to reach them is by engaging them with something that brings value to them. The app is the new ad unit. If you can engage a user as a brand (real engagement and not just light engagement), you can turn social networkers (faceless) into real social brand loyalists. We're seeing tremendous results w/ our 40+ clients and have some huge news coming down the pike that I'll keep you abreast of. Very exciting times for our industry.
  • Hi Nick, thanks for reporting on this. I am developing a social network for women who are interested in learning more about beauty products. Advertising was not going to be a major contributor to my revenue model but as I learn more about the use of appvertisements, I will reconsider this approach. Thanks.
