Even early video games adhered to this (Pong anyone?). &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We've had a couple decades of both social games and profoundly isolating, single-player adventures. I just blogged about the fact that &lt;br&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.praized.com/blog/social-networks/facebook-is-just-a-game/" rel="nofollow"&gt;"Facebook Is Just A Game"&lt;/a&gt;.
