  • Look at the OPIM Major in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. www.msb.edu/prog/opim
    It is just 5 years old, but has already launched several entrepreneurs, one of whom is a founder of LivingSocial.com, Tim O'Shaughnessy. Another is Will Wnekowicz, who cofounded Debatepedia.com and is now President and Founder of Altum Design Studios.
  • Didn't have time to read the criteria used in the Entrepreneur mag survey but noticed they documented whether a school has a business *plan* competition. Worth noting that Dingman goes to the next level and has a business competition (Cupid's Cup, underwritten by Kevin Plank, CEO.founder of UnderArmour) for actual revenue-producing companies rather than just business plans.
  • It seems like DC is heading in the right direction but I doubt the laid back geeks will ever want to start their enterprising start-ups in a highly bureaucratic place such as DC.
  • Yes, school is one of the traditional brick-and-mortar, and Elluminate Fire and Ice is the assistive device on supplying its shortage, it’s an educational reform. Stace, you are a pioneer. Hope more and more educators can highlight the need of this digital learning sphere.
