Real time search is definitely an incredibly functional tool. A good website in this space is www.gethighnote.com, which has search as well as track and share. It's results are pretty useful and the track has helped me find some pretty cool information that might otherwise get lost.

We can’t categorize all URL shorteners to be spreading spam. Some of them use special filtration system to protect spam. What do you think about bit.ly, Su.pr or http://aafter.com/ ?All of them are fail-safe, too. However, I also don’t mind to support Coxymoney’s view.

I would hope that someone would buy up tr.im and others if they dead pooled. We are looking at internet wide FAILED links if URL-shortening services we all go to under. This is a specific industry I wouldn't mind giving one company a monopoly if it was regulated, or something like a $1 a year fee per user.

What do you guys think?
